TIG welding Aluminum

Some additional tips:

 

get down steel TIG welding first, once you have this down its easier to move to Aluminum

 

Not all aluminums are acceptable to weld, 2024 would be one of the main alloys not to weld.

 

6061, 3000 & 5000 series are all great alloys to weld.

 

2% Lanthanated electrodes are a great all around solution for welding, Aluminum, Steel & Stainless.
